UMS Ltd supply the Paint Jet 4003 series range for marking a dot, series of dots or continuous line from 5mm to 40mm wide onto the surface of static components. It is often used to show if a component has passed or failed an inspection or test.

A wide range of paints and colours are available and can mark onto a wide variety of surfaces including castings, sheet metal, tube and extrusions, glass, paper, fabric and rubber. The systems are used for a wide range of applications including electrical test, colour coding cast aluminium ingots using a multiple head setup, electrical connector wiring verification, hydraulic hose pressure testing, vehicle air conditioning unit pressure testing.
