Print On Demand

Print on Demand (POD) is a software based marking system which allows high quality disposable stencils to be created at your workstation for either human readable text or data matrix codes. The mark is then applied using the ME3000T marking unit at a resolution of 300dpi. If data matrix codes are being applied, UMS can supply an appropriate data matrix reader to suit the application. Meets the latest Aerospace standards.

Marks a wide range of component sizes, shapes, materials and surface finishes, from thin walled tube to large fabrications including fully hardened components using the one system.
Enabled for high quality results on titanium (no micro cracks as can occur with laser).
High contrast oxide mark on aluminium and various alloys as well as etch mark and compound mark (etch and oxide).
300dpi print using thermally produced stencils, in 112mm and 226mm, gives much higher resolution mark than traditional die impression stencil paper.
